Carlsson is a beautiul fewspot (whiteborn) Knabstrupper/ Zfdp stallion born and raised in Germany.

He stands 1.63m (16.1h) tall and has very correct conformation and gaits.

His origines aren't as common to our followers are usual because this breed is a well kept secret. Originated in Denmark, the KNN are spotted horses bred for sport! They have right bodies and the best minds, perhaps due to distrust from professional riders they never really got much visibility in the jumping arenas, but the quality is there! They are mainly found in DK and DE.

On the sire's side we find a line of spotted show jumping performers, such as his sire Campino who jumped at 1.25m level in Germany (something quite rare amongst spotted stallions).

On his dam's side we find the famous Ladalco (HOLST ) himself a very important sire, son of one of the most influential Thoroughbred sport horse sires Ladykiller xx. In addition we find the Holstein blood of Aldato by Anblick xx.

So our idea with Carlsson was to bring up a mix of bloods that could provide different qualities for the sport.

We are known to find hidden pearls like this that fit wonderfully with show jumping mares coming from proven dam-lines and that will assure the show jumping quality, whilst Carlsson will be able to give the very desired spots and a wonderful character. It is all a matter of balance.

Carlsson is an approved stallion with several studbooks such as AES, Zfdp, and others. He was performance tested in 2017!

Unfortunately, as the majority of homozygous stallions, the breeding duties overruled the sport opportunities. Nevertheless, we believe we will breed top class jumpers with him!

We bred 2 majestic colt foals by him in 2022, one homozygous leopard and one pintaloosa, and we are absolutely sure they will jump as we envisioned.

Color genetics: Ee AA LP/LP PATN1/PATN1 - homozygous agouti, leopard and PATN1, heterozygous extension = will never produce black bases, all offspring will have spots.
