On the 7th of Sept we welcomed this absolutely unique colt foal! Our first pintaloosa homebred and what a beauty he is!
Chestnut leopard + tobiano with 2 partial blue eyes.
It is impossible not to fall instantly in love when you see him, he has such a wonderful presence and moves so gracefully.
His sire is a German Zfdp/ Knabstrupper fewspot stallion called Carlsson vom Dach. This stallion is sired by Campino, who competed in SJ in Germany, and the mother is by the important HOLST stallion Ladalco. His production is still very young but there is something common among all: very good conformation, very good balance and great character!
The dam is our fantastic Margarita Fly, who has already 2 sisters jumping at ISJ 1.40 level and comes from a damline of many achievements with several horses jumping at the best level such as ISJ 1.60 Tico, ISJ 1.60 Audi's Wizard, and more. The fll sister of her mother jumped herself ISJ 1.50 level for Canada.
Margarita Fly will have her chance in sport when the right time comes. She was broken under saddle at 3yo and showed fantastic rideability and balance.
Cognac is perhaps the pintaloosa with the best performance damine amongst show jumping horses across the world! This makes him a serious candidate as stallion.
He is also expected to mature around 1.68 -1.70m.
Color genetics: ee/ A?/ TO/n LP/lp PATN1/patn1 - heterozygous Tobiano, Leopard and PATN1 (agouti status unknown), has 75% overall chance to produce a colored foal: 50% either tobiano or leopard & 25% chance to produce a pintaloosa.
